These look so good! I cannot wait to make them, though I may spice them up a bit with a jalapeno or habenaro

Gloria, thank you for visiting SmarterFitter and commenting on my Mildred's post (I left a reply, btw). But what a treat for ME to have found YOUR blog. Your photography is beautiful and your garden humbles me (I'm new to the whole gardening malarky). I've had pickled green beans before but never pickled asparagus. Love this idea. Wish I had a glut of asparagus to pickle. ;)

If I had made these lovely jars, I would definitely arrange them on my counter and admire them for awhile!!! There is something so "homey" about these. I love dilly beans but have never pickled asparagus. I would also love a bowl of your soup. Sometimes I make stir fry with the tips and end cuts.

I'm fond enough of pickled asparagus that it's always worth doing at least one batch! They're a great addition to a relish plate or antipasta. Next time you do a batch, try packing the spears in the jars with the bud end down at the bottom. That way you don't damage them when you pull them back out! Your jars look beautiful!

Those look totally delicious, what a great way to use up special offer veg. They look so beautiful in the jars as well, too attractive to hide away in a pantry. We have an asparagus farm in our village, so if they have any specials going I'm going to give this a go, I agree that asparagus are too good to pickle fresh.
